As a young girl (between 6 and 18 years of age) I took up drawing ....rather easy sketches. My favourite way to draw was to draw objects or pictures I had , just next to me.Gradually, got inspired by my father,a self taught artist ,who used to Paint portraits and landscapes. My friends and teachers had encouraging words for me.So my journey began.

During my Bacelors in Fine Art at College of Art (DU) I specialised in Printmaking .Initially I used "strongly realistic Pen & Ink" for Drawing.Then I laid my hands on Etching, Relief (linocut, woodcut and collagraphy) and immediate surroundings in Serigraphy. Now I am comfortable with my medium and my possibilities: exploring light & shadow. I also specialize in Photography, Painting (Canvas & Wall paint) and Graphic Designing.

Art is a medium of expression of the unknown and the known. The inate and the evident.

The freedom of being able to use the colors and the pen to put acrosss the thoughts always inspires and motivates me to never give up on this medium.
